Exodus: freed to be God's people

Exodus is the account of how God begins to fulfill his promise to Abraham to make his descendants, Israel, into a great nation. Israel is enslaved and oppressed in Egypt, but God in his faithfulness, by his great power, through a deliverer whom he raises up, frees Israel to be who he chose them to be: his unique and treasured people among all peoples. In this study, we will learn more about how God’s ultimate deliverer, Jesus, frees us from sin and bondage to be his people.
