I was first attracted to Harvest by the preaching ministry which expounds God’s Word with grace and clarity, yet in an uncompromising way.  Tammi and I enjoy being engaged in the building up of the body through various gatherings and service.

When I was asked to consider being an elder, I was surprised and I felt very challenged to fill such a role.  Taking time to consider it, I felt the seriousness of caring for what Jesus gave his life for.  After much prayer and consideration, I could see that God was putting this before me and that I needed to lay hold of it by faith.  I’m glad that took place and I feel humbled and satisfied to be serving in this way.  Tammi and I love being with God's people and making much of Jesus, our elder shepherd.

My hope for Harvest is that our devotion in discipleship to Jesus would grow as we are ever amazed by him and all that he has done.  That this would engage our deepest affections to fuel how we live for him.  That we would be deeply and continually changed into his likeness through his word and in communion with him.  Forsaking the elusive comfort and security in this world and by his grace being diligent to live as kingdom people who live for their King in loving obedience.

I grew up in a faithful Christian home where I witnessed my parents serving the Lord and loving His church. I heard the Gospel faithfully preached in a Christian school and Christ saved me by His grace at an early age.  The Church and the things of Christ have been central to my life from very early on.  I am thankful that I have had many strong role models who have discipled me through the years.

My wife Heather and I along with our three boys have been a part of Harvest since 2015.  Our family has been blessed by the people and ministry of Harvest in countless ways. I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve Harvest in the role of elder (since 2019). I have a heart for discipleship, Bible study, and men’s ministry.

I am also an independent business owner of a company that serves churches, specifically in the area of children's ministry. In my spare time, I enjoy staying active playing basketball, hiking, and spending time with my family.
