What is discipleship?
Various Scriptures
Discipleship is a life-on-on life process of becoming and helping others become like Jesus

What is discipleship? Discipleship is becoming like Jesus Christ in our heart, mind, and actions.

1) Who can be discipled?
When does disciple-making begin? When does it end? What does 1 Corinthians 11:1 say about discipleship? Likewise, how do Titus 2:4 and Ephesians 6:4 describe discipleship?

2) Is discipleship formal or informal?
Give examples of both informal and formal discipleship. Which is most important? How can we be more intentional in making disciples?

3) Discipleship happens life on life.
What can we learn about discipleship from the way Jesus made disciples? What can we learn about making disciples from Paul in 1 Thessalonians 1:7-12?

4) Discipleship is multiplication.
What does the growth of the church from Jesus’ original 12 disciples say about his priority of multiplication? What can we learn about multiplying disciples from Paul in 2 Timothy 2:2?

5) Discipleship is hard (and it is worth it).
What makes discipleship hard? Why is it worth it? Who does God have in your life that you can intentionally help become like Jesus?
