What is the Church?

In light of a changing world, many people are considering what the church really is and what it means to be a part of it. If we stop there and wonder based on our own opinions and experiences or the opinions of the shifting culture around us, we arrive at something different from what God intended. Instead, we want Scripture to change and inform how we think about the church so that we can live as God's Church in the way that He intended and bring glory to Him. The Church is called "the Bride of Christ" and as such, we long to know what God says about His Bride. This series begins at the 30,000-foot view as we look at what the universal Church is, and we will dig deeper into what that looks like in our lives today as the local church at Harvest.
