Jesus Christ, the Son of God: a study in the Gospel of John

The Gospel of John is one of the most well-loved books in the Bible. Many people, when they first come to faith in Christ, or are not there yet, are directed to read John’s Gospel. This is because John writes in such simple language. And he may be the clearest Gospel writer when it comes to explaining how a person can be saved and have eternal life. You can’t get any clearer than John 3:16! But John’s simple language doesn’t mean that the truths he communicates are simple to understand. You don’t get past the first few verses before reading some of the of the deepest truths ever written, as John tells us up front who Jesus is. Our faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God will be deepened as we journey through the Gospel of John, with his unique perspective as “the disciple who Jesus loved.”
