Harvest Kids

Harvest Kids exists to help kids gather as a family, grow as disciples of Jesus, and learn what it means to go to their neighbors and the nations. We believe that kids are a valuable and integral part of our church and desire to provide a safe, loving, and consistent environment for them to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus.

Sunday mornings

1st through 5th grade will start in the service with their families.

  • Room 1: ages 0 -  3 (go straight to classroom)
  • Room 2:  PreK - Kindergarten (go straight to classroom)
  • Room 4:  1st - 5th grade

What does a Sunday look like? Each Sunday, kids will engage in a Bible Story, "big picture question", memory verse, and activity page. They will also play a fun game or do a craft, eat a snack, and spend time playing with each other.

Drop-off & pick-up: To minimize the number of people in the classrooms, we ask parents to drop off their kiddos and wait in the hall as a volunteer checks each kid in or out.

Curriculum: We are currently working through a curriculum from Lifeway Publishers called "The Gospel Project", which goes through the entire storyline of the Bible. Click here for a sample lesson from the curriculum.

Family Worship Gatherings

Once a quarter, we have a Family Worship Gathering during which 1st through 5th Grade kids join in the gathering with their parents rather than go to their classrooms. This gathering looks a little different as we intentionally engage kids and adults alike in the message of the gospel in recognition that we all are a part of the church!

Our next family worship gathering will be on November 29th.

Serve with Harvest Kids

If you are interested in serving with Harvest Kids, click here.
We have three different serving roles in Harvest Kids:
  • Hospitality and Support
  • Lead Teacher
  • Classroom Helper

If you desire to serve but aren't sure where you would fit best, fill out the form and our Harvest Kids Director will reach out to you!

Our teachers and volunteers serve with joy and passion, helping shape the next generation of Christ’s followers. Each Sunday, we teach children the importance of knowing Jesus as their Savior and trusting Him daily. We’re not just teaching Bible stories; we’re discipling kids to grow into adults who reflect His love and hope.

Volunteers are essential to the health of Harvest Kids, and we’re always looking for teachers and helpers. We ask that volunteers attend Harvest regularly for six months before serving in kids’ ministry. If you’re interested but haven’t reached that mark yet, complete the form or talk to the Harvest Kids Director, and we’ll get the process started!
