Pre-registration letter to parents:

Pre-registration begins on June 1.  You can download the Registration Form and Parent letter from our website or pick one up at the church:
Monday     9am-12 noon
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday     9am - 4pm

IMPORTANT:  Children are grouped by age or grade level which (the grade they will enter in the Fall).  Because our group sizes are limited, requests to place your child with a specific friend will ONLY be accepted until Thursday, July 3, before 4 pm.  After that date, we are unable to accommodate requests.

You may still register at the church on July 7 when the doors open at 8:45 am.  After you completely fill out the Registration form, our Registrars will find an available space for your child, after which time you can go directly to your Group Guide Leader to sign your child in.
Remember, after July 3, we will not be able to place children in specific groups, only where there is availability.

PRE-REGISTERED CHILDREN
Children who are pre-registered will find their group name on the posted lists and can go directly with their parent to sign child in with their Group Guide Leader in the sanctuary.

PARENTS:  IMPORTANT NOTE 
As noted in the Parent Letter and Registration form (page 2):

            All children must be accompanied by an adult.  The adult is required to sign in
            the child with the child’s Group Leader upon arrival and sign out when picking up             the child.

If on any given day a person other than the parent/guardian is going to bring or pick up your child, a separate note MUST be signed by the parent (in advance and given to the Group Leader) identifying the responsible party, giving permission and informing them of our policy that they must sign in and sign out the child and be prepared to show picture I.D.


Be sure to invite your friends and register early!


May 15, 2008 Letter to Parents:
We are excited to have your child participate in our VBS program, Son World Adventure Park, “A Thrilling Ride with Jesus.” This year, children will discover that choosing Jesus is the ticket to the best ride of their lives!

Our theme verse is Joshua 24:15:
“Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve.”

For your child’s safety, the daily check-in and check-out procedure will be as follows:

Arrival: Parent will sign in child with Guide (group leader) each morning.

Departure: Child will remain in sanctuary with Guide until signed out by parent. Note: If an alternate person will be picking up your child, please indicate in writing at sign-in whom that designated person is. Photo I.D. will be required.

As a reminder, since some activities are outdoors, it is very important to protect your child with sunblock each day. Also, it is preferable for children to wear athletic shoes rather than sandals.

A mission emphasis is included in our VBS program. Our goal is to help children discover the importance of missions and to understand that we can all be involved by praying and supporting special projects.

This year, we will be supplying orphan children at Hannah’s Hope Ethopia with relief supplies to send with our short-term missionaries (see reverse for list of items). Thank you for being an example to your children by reaching out to help others.

Letter to Parents — Mission info:
Harvest is sending a group of about ten people to Ethiopia this October.  They will be serving the same children at Hannah’s Hope Ethiopia our VBS kids helped last year through their amazing book and coin drive.  Our mission focus for Son World Adventure Park will be supplying these children with relief supplies to send with our short-term missionaries.  Each person is able to bring a large suitcase filled with items to help care for the children served by All God’s Children International at Hannah’s Hope and orphans throughout the capital city of Addis Ababba and beyond.  Our goal for VBS this week is to fill each missionary’s suitcase to overflowing!  Included is a list of items you can donate to this incredible effort.  (All relief items beyond what our suitcases will carry will be donated to local charities.)
