Why was Jesus born to die?
Sins can only be paid for by Jesus’ death and resurrection not by good deeds

SINS Cannot be Removed by Good Deeds
Romans 3:10-12. 10 as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”

Isaiah 64:6. says, All our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment.

Titus 3:4-6. 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior.

Ephesians 2:8-9. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Leviticus 17:11. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it for you on the altar to make atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that makes atonement by the life.

Hebrews 9:22. Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.

Hebrews 9:24-26. 24 For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. 25 Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the holy places every year with blood not his own, 26 for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

1 John 4:10. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Romans 3:25. Jesus Christ God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.

Romans 3:26. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.

Romans 5:9. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.

Romans 4:25. who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.

Romans 10:9. if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
